Like other major cities, bus use in Stoke-on-Trent is in decline and in recent years, have been exacerbated by the price and quality of bus services. This Department for Transport funding provides a pivotal opportunity to transform the local offer for an improved city-wide bus priority infrastructure with real time information and affordable fares.

With faster reliable bus journey times and a more accessible modern and user-friendly service, it will encourage more bus users and help to mitigate the effects of congestion and air quality across the city.
